We recently bought a Grill-Toaster-Sandwich-Maker tool in the kitchen. And it is AWESOME! This new kitchen toy does not require any oil or cutting down the fat pieces, in other words it does not require all the prep work upfront.
It is George Forman’s fat reducing grill!
Of course if you do not have it, you can easily use the (oven) grill. 😉
- Pastrami (5 slices) or Ham (4 slices)
- Chorizo (8 slices)
- Avocado (half avocado)
- Mozzarella (200 gr)
- Salt, Pepper, Chilli, Garlic
- Bread (toast bread) - 4 slices
- Toaster-Sandwich maker-Grill
How I did it
Chop, chop and start First things first. Chop the ingredients: mozzarella, avocado. Then, take 2 bread slices, add the sliced mozzarella and the jalapenos on each and season on top with salt and pepper. Then take the avocado and add it on top of the jalapenos.
Add the meat slices! Second thing, add the meat slices: chorizo and ham (or pastrami). Yes, sandwich lovers, 2 layers of meat! Chorizo first, on top of the creamy avocado. Then add the ham (or pastrami) slices on top of the chorizo.
Season and toast! Season again, this time with chilli and garlic. Then, add the other 2 slices of bread on top. I put the sandwiches into the toaster/fat-reducing grill for 10-12 minutes. I do not believe in these kinds of kitchen-instrument-shortcuts but this George Foreman fat-reducing grill really works. I left both sandwiches in there to toast for 10 minutes. And check to see if it's as crunchy as you like it to be! Smells really good, I know! Enjoy!
