My husband saw an interesting recipe online so i did not hesitate to put it in practice right away, but with a different twist of course, recipe adapted to what we had in our fridge (nothing goes to waste!)! A breakfast-lunch-dinner recipe: potato pizza!
Simple, comfort food!
Let’s see how it came out!
- potatoes (3 medium size)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 100-120 gr of mushrooms
- 2 table spoons of tomato sauce
- salt, pepper, herbs for seasoning
- olive oil
- soy sauce
- 5 slices of bacon (i did not have bacon therefore i added slices of ham instead!)
- fry pan
How I did it
Prep the "pizza" base! Slice the potatoes, drop some olive oil in the pan until the oil covers the pan completely and arrange the potato slices until they look similar to a pizza dough. Let the potatoes crisp for 10 minutes and then add the tomato sauce and the mushrooms!
Get the potato pizza ready! Once mushrooms and tomato sauce have been added, drop some jalapenos on top! Leave the potato pizza to cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, herbs! Drop some soy sauce as well, then add the cheddar cheese, slices of ham (or bacon!) and leave it to melt! Now, drop the egg in the center! Let everything cook for another 10 minutes and then enjoy! It's that simple!
