We were in the mood for some pasta! AGAIN. But we didn’t want to cook them traditional way, like i’ve been doing so far. Sooo, what about baking the pasta??!

Here is a simple, 2 steps recipe that you can very very easily cook, especially for a lazy autum weekend! 😉

  • mozzarella 2 packs (round)
  • penne integral pasta (350 gr)
  • chicken sausage (205 gr)
  • bacon slices (200 gr)
  • cherry tomatoes (150 gr)
  • fresh basil
  • olive oil
  • tomato sauce
  • salt, pepper
  • parmesan (30-50 gr)

Kitchen tools

  • oven tray
  • oven
  • pot
  • spoon
  • knife

How I did it

Step 1

The first step is to start boiling the pasta. Add the pasta in a pot with already warm and salted water. Add a drop of olive oil so the pasta won't stick. While the pasta are boiling, start chopping the bacon and add into a small bowl, separately. Chop some cherry tomatoes too. Chop each sausage in round thin (but not too thin) slices. Stir-fry the chicken sausages in the wok with some olive oil, salt and pepper. In the meantime, turn the oven on (medium heat) and let it pre-heat. Don't leave the oven tray inside though! 😉

Step 2

Things are getting cheesy!
Get the oven tray and add olive oil then once you have drained the water, add pasta into the tray, then add the bacon slices and the sausages. Baked pasta with mozzarella Cheesy! Then slice the mozzarella separately. And start adding the rest of ingredients: your chopped cherry tomato, tomato sauce, and add the mozzarella slices on top. I choose to add the mozzarella last so that it melts over the other ingredients! Worth it!
