Chicken drumsticks are a huge deal in London! First because you can find lots of good promotions in supermakets such as Sainsbury’s or Tesco. And second because it’s a often present meal in pubs and restaurants offered against a good price! I have my own recipe, adapted to London life i would say!

Check it out!

  • chicken drums (1 kg)
  • potatoes (500 gr)
  • mayo (5 table spoons)
  • tomato sauce (5 table spoons)
  • olive oil
  • balsamic vinegar
  • salt & pepper
  • herbs

Kitchen tools

  • oven tray
  • spoon
  • chef's knife

How I did it

Step 1

Prep the drumsticks & the potatoes!
Wash the drumsticks, get rid of the extra fat and skin if you don't usually enjoy it, carefully give the drumsticks 3 gently cut lines for the cook on them to be tender, season with salt & pepper and add them one by one in the oven tray! The potatoes i have just carefully washed them, cut them in 4, left the skin for a crunch, added in the oven tray and seasoned with herbs and salt!

Step 2

Cook those drumsticks!
Turn the oven on at 200 degrees Celcius, put olive oil in the tray leave it for 5 minutes to get hot, season with olive oil and balsamic vinegar on top of the drumsticks and put the oven tray inside!
Set the clock for 20 minutes, once the 20 minutes are gone, get the oven tray out, turn the stickdrums on the other side and add the mayo spoons and the tomato sauce! Leave it for another 20 minutes inside the oven to cook!

Step 3

Drumsticks ready!
Make sure the potatoes are ready! If they have a smokey, golden colour, then they're ready and the crunchiness is there!
