Ok, meat lovers. Let’s cook some lamb chops! I chose to cook them in the wok because it feels to me that lamb chops cooked in the wok or a pan gets more tender and juicy. Plus you can control and see the 3 cooking stages: rare, medium rare, well done.
Here’s my recipe:
- 2 lamb chops
- olive oil
- salt, pepper, chili, curry
How I did it
Wash the chops and season Season with salt, pepper and chilli. Then add olive oil in the wok (or pan) - not too much though, 3 table spoons are enough. Turn the stove on and heat the wok and oil for couple of minutes. Then add some curry powder in the olive oil and mix. Once oil started sizzling drop the chops in the wok.
20 minutes later(10 min on each side), the lamb is ready to be served. If you touch and press the lamb meat you should feel the same texture as if you would touch press your chin. That is medium rare!
The garnish Lamb chops go well with a lot of this. But i believe that it goes best with potatoes! Therefore, some gnocchi boiled in the pot or some chips should do the trick! Oh, and you can drizzle some parmesan cheese on top if you want to, for a punch of cheesiness and salt! Gnnochi: Potato chips:
