Wanna hear the bacon sizzling?
- Bacon, any kind of bacon, good bacon
- 1 Onion
- Olive oil
- Condiments: salt, pepper, red paprika powder
- Oven tray
- Baking paper
How I did it:
1, 2, 3, bacon in the oven
Add the slices into the tray and grater some parmesan on top of each. It should already smell yummy. You can leave the slices as they are or you can add some olive oil on top – second twist for extra flavor. Now you can pre-heat the oven and 5 minutes later you can add the tray inside.
While the bacon is in the oven, start working on the garnish. Slice onions, tomatoes – julienne or cubic. Add the garnish into the wok and start cooking it. Add salt, pepper, red paprika powder and start mixing. Taste and season again if necessary. Once the onions and tomatoes have been cooked, switch it off.
Make the bacon sandwich
Check the bacon that’s in the oven. How does it smell? Now admit, it smells great. Once you are happy with the smell, texture and taste, get the tray out and let the bacon rest.
Take 2 slices of bread. Add butter on each slice. Then add the garnish and the crispy bacon on top.
