Looked in the fridge and saw I have some pork meat, mushroom soup, some egg noodles, eggs and a bit of parmesan. Let’s cook something with every ingredient!
Ingredients
- 500 grams pork meat
- 150 grams egg noodles
- 1 can of mushroom soup
- 1 egg
- olive oil
- soy sauce
- balsamic vinegar
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- sesame seeds
- parmesan

How I did it
Step 1
Pork caramel?
You cut the pork in small cubic pieces, season with salt and pepper and some garlic powder. You get the wok (or pan) hot and start pouring olive oil. Then, add in the pork pieces.
Then add the soy sauce and stir. The caramelised texture will start to show off. Then I added just a bit of balsamic sauce, because I like the taste so much. You can leave aside, no need to add unless you also love it as much as I do!
Step 2
Make it creamy!
In the wok where you have the pork pieces I added mushroom soup. Yes, creamy mushroom soup. 🙂 I see it like a broth. A thicker broth.
Add that in and then mix and let it stir for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Add texture and flavours
I added some sesame seeds for the texture and the crunchy flavour. Then I added some salt and pepper (just a bit), taste and made sure there's not too much salt nor pepper in there. I then added some garlic powder
Step 4
The egg noodles
I bought just needed to be added into a bowl and pour boiling water onto them.
Then I dropped them into the wok on top of the creamy mushroom and pork mix. Let everything stir for few minutes.
Step 5
The egg
I also poached an egg to add it on top of the noodles and pork meal. The satisfaction of a good poached egg.
Don't forget to sprinkle some of that parmesan!
Voila, the meal:
Isn't this perfect for a good start in 2018?
